What is an IPS Monitor?

What is an IPS Monitor?

IPS monitors are a type of LED monitor. IPS panels give traditional LED screens an upgrade, allowing for better color accuracy and consistency.

What Does IPS Stand For?

IPS stands for In Plane Switching. The liquid crystals in the display are able to shift and create better viewing angles than the typical LED monitor can provide.

How Does an IPS Panel Work?

IPS panels produce more accurate colors than some other display technologies and allows you to see the picture with accurate colors from a wider angle around it. IPS monitors have their liquid crystals aligned in parallel which allows them to shift in alignment and create the wider viewing angle.
