What Is an HD Monitor?

HD (high-definition) monitors, not to be confused with FHD, are displays which have a native resolution of 720p or 1280x720. While 720p is still referred to as HD in technical terms, 1080p is widely considered to be the true HD standard (referred to Full HD or FHD) in recent years due to their affordability and higher resolution.
