microLED is the latest type of display technology that is set to rival OLED in the high-end display market. Unlike miniLED displays, microLED uses self-emitting diodes just like OLED which allows for each pixel to light up individually instead of relying on a backlight. 

Upcoming microLED displays feature deeper blacks and sharper colors compared to their standard LCD counterparts, offering a comparable viewing experience to OLED.

Currently, microLED is not widely available for consumer use and is still a very expensive investment for most users.
